Dan Morrison

Dan Morrison is the President and Corporate Executive Officer (CEO) of Nomad Energy. Dan’s vision for Nomad was to focus technologies on mature and difficult hydrocarbons to ensure the assets are utilized to their maximum potential. In addition to his cutting-edge work as the leader of Nomad, Dan is the technical advisor and venture partner for a major oil field technologies investment fund.

Dan started his oilfield career at Halliburton Energy. At Halliburton, he was a principal member of several national leadership teams, and a Service Quality lead for the Western US on the Performance Improvement Initiative. Dan functioned as the global point contact manager for Shell for several key product service lines which included fracture /acidizing, well intervention, sub-sea well testing, tools and testing, and slick line while at Halliburton. He served as the US Well Intervention Sales Manager for pin point stimulation, well intervention, slick line, and rig-less completion initiative in the Gulf of Mexico.  Dan has worked on major projects around the globe on improving production, risk mitigation, and well control. In addition, he has published over six SPE papers and several magazine articles regarding cutting-edge technology for unconventional assets. He holds numerous patents on technologies associated with drilling and completion operations. Dan received a BS degree in Chemical Engineering in 1995 from The University of Texas at Austin.

Jim Brown

Mr. Brown is the Chief Operating Officer for Nomad Energy. Jim is approaching 35 years in his oil and gas career, beginning as a junior drill site engineer and working his way up to positions of Operations Manager and Vice President for several small and mid-sized oil and gas companies.  Jim has extensive experience in drilling and production engineering, wellsite supervision and project management. Jim honed his business acumen as a partner in a S. Texas E & P company, and has lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, geoscientists and land men in the exploration, production and exploitation of many Tcf equivalent reserves along the Gulf Coast. He also has considerable experience in HTHP environments and has enjoyed working resource plays in Texas, Montana and North Dakota.  Jim is most recognized for his no-nonsense approach to engineering and business problems.

 

Marion L. “Mern” Allison           

Mern Allison serves as Nomad’s Operations Manager/Field Consulting. His 30+ years experience in oil and gas have given him a supreme understanding of international industry logistics and the coordination required to complete projects on time and under budget. With a focus on safety and efficiency, Mern takes personal responsibility to ensure all endeavors he leads will result in company growth and an improved client asset. Not only is Mr. Allison skilled in multiple technologically advanced drilling methods, he also has experience with drilling in various desert environments worldwide. Additionally, Mern’s expertise extends to excellence in field documentation, in which he generates reports and tracks job progress meticulously to ensure his team and equipment function at maximum productivity. Mr. Allison gained supervision experience and international leadership knowledge through time spent working with multiple industry players, most notably Halliburton Energy Services.

 

Allison Courtney

An accomplished sales and marketing representative, Allison has over 18 years experience in representing the oil and gas sector to both domestic and international audiences. Ms. Courtney represents Nomad as the Global Strategic Business Development Manager, and in this capacity she identifies client needs, discusses products and services, and closes deals in a positive way that benefits both company and client. Having traveled extensively, Allison has interacted with cultures around the globe and collected substantial knowledge of methods for representing an entity and transferring information. Allison gained management experience in her role of Founder and President at Allichem International, in which she marketed drilling, completions and production chemicals.

 

Cindy Mitchell

Cindy Mitchell, Chief Administrative Officer for Nomad Energy, has great expertise in marketing and administrative operations that she earned from over 20 years in the oil and gas industry. As CAO, Mrs. Mitchell works side-by-side with the executive team to help maximize internal operational performance and cost effectiveness in day-to-day operations. Mrs. Mitchell's expertise encompasses the whole body of the organization, providing additional focus, leadership, and experience to Human Resources, Procurement, Finances, Vendor Relations and Contracts. Her previous employment includes several executive management positions for branches as varied as Projects, Procurement, Contract Administration, HR, Payroll, AP, AR, and Marketing and Sales. Mrs. Mitchell holds of a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

 

Dean Murdock

Mr. Murdock served over 22 years in the United States Army, retiring as a Sergeant First Class. Mr. Murdock received the Bronze Star and numerous other awards and decorations for his service both in the United States and abroad, including multiple tours in both Germany and the Republic of Korea. Mr. Murdock has been deployed in support of Combat Operations in Saudi Arabia Operation Desert Storm/Shield and, more recently, Iraq Operation Iraqi Freedom. After retiring from the Army in December of 2009, he went to work as the project manager at TechRadium, leading the eArmy Technical Support Team and applying his many years of leadership and experience before coming to serve as Nomad Energy's HSE and Logistics Coordinator and head of corporate security. Mr. Murdock currently has a BSBA in Public Management and a MBA in Logistics from TUI University.
