The Nomad Team have been involved in the Côte d’Ivoire oil business since 1996, through the re-developed the Espoir oil Field and discovery the giant Baobab oil Field.

The Nomad Team have also written technical papers on hydrocarbon potential of the Côte d’Ivoire including:

CI-202

Gazelle Fieldibex

The IVCO-12 well (1977) discovered oil and gas reservoirs flowing up to 1822bopd and 23.8mmcfd. Five appraisal wells were drilled including IVCO-14 (1977), IVCO-21, (1980), Gazelle-1 (1988), Gazelle-2 (1997) and Gazelle P-3 (2012), with numerous hydrocarbon tests.

Further Discoveries

Other discoveries in license CI-202 include: Hippo-1, IVCO-10, IVCO-13 & IVCO-25 and IVCO-22.

Work Programme

Currently re-processing 1000km² of seismic data over CI-202 along with 1800km² of data from CI-523 and CI-525 to better delineate the Gazelle Field and exploration potential in the block for future drilling

CI-523

ibexIbex Discovery

The IVCO-26 well (1985) discovered oil and gas reservoirs and flowed 2,992bopd with 1.75mmcfd of associated gas.  Two appraisal wells were drilled Ibex-1 (1996) and South Ibex-1 (1998).

wildbeestWildebeest Discovery

The Assinie-1x well (1977) discovered gas bearing reservoir which tested at 19.3mmcfd.

Work Programme

Currently processing 1800km² of new seismic data over CI-523 and CI-525 along with reprocessing 1000km² over CI-202 to delineate the Ibex and Wildebeest discoveries and exploration potential in the block for future drilling.

CI-525

elandEland Field

The IVCO-19 well (1978) discovered gas in the Eland and tested 12.4mmcfd of gas with 520bcpd (54° API).  Appraisal well IVCO-23 (1981) drilled the southern fault block and tested 13mmcfd of gas with 430bcpd.

kuduKudu Field

The E1-1X well (1984) discovered gas and oil bearing reservoir which tested 23.6mmcfd with 738bcpd.  Appraisal well Kudu-1 (1997) drilled a separate structural closure and also found gas and oil bearing reservoir which tested 25.7mmcfd with 728bcpd.

impala Impala Discovery

The IVCO-18 well (1978) discovered gas and oil bearing reservoir with production test 4 flowing 11.5mmcfd with 480bopd.
